Applications Open for 2026 Export Awards

David Kempton Member for Cook is pleased to share that the Crisafulli Government is calling for nominations from Queensland’s leading exporters for the 2026 Premier of Queensland Export Awards with only two weeks left.

The awards are among the State’s most prestigious business honours, recognising outstanding achievement across Queensland’s $138.9 billion export industry.

From regional producers to advanced manufacturers, exporters are driving jobs growth and supporting communities across Queensland by injecting local products and services into some of the world’s most competitive markets.

After a decade of decline under Labor saw Queensland’s international reputation left in tatters, the Crisafulli Government is rebuilding relationships with key trading partners.

The Export Awards will recognise businesses capitalising on the State’s Trade Reset, and Trade and Investment Queensland will provide free assistance to businesses looking to nominate for an award.

Mr Kempton said the Awards recognised the businesses playing a key role in Queensland’s economic growth.

“Cook exporters are competing in some of the toughest global markets, and these awards recognise the ambition and continuous work it takes to win,” Mr Kempton said.

“The Crisafulli Government is restoring confidence with our international partners and backing Queensland businesses to make the most of every opportunity available on the world stage.”

Bundaberg based Marquis Macadamias won last year’s award for Agribusiness, Food and Beverage.

Chief Executive Ben Adam said the recognition had a huge impact on everybody involved in the business.

“It flows all the way back to the growers and just sharing that with them and giving them the experience that they are part of a winning organisation, and a winning industry is really good,” Mr Adam said.

Applications close on 12 June 2026 with winners to represent Queensland at the Australian Export Awards in Canberra later this year.
