Attention all youth in the Cook electorate, Youth Week will run from Saturday 11 April to Sunday 19 April and is part of a statewide celebration recognising the achievements and contributions of young Queenslanders aged 12 to 25.
The Crisafulli Government is supporting young people to take the lead by offering grants of up to $10,000 to deliver exciting and meaningful, youth-led local projects. These grants enable young people to host events, showcase their talents, and share their stories with the community.
A total of $275,000 is available across Queensland to fund youth-led community events and initiatives that encourage young people to explore, influence, and engage with the world around them.
This program plays a vital role in building strong communities where people feel connected, celebrated, and resilient.
Applications close at 5:00 pm (AEST) on 22 February 2026.

If you have a passion for creativity and a talent for digital art, this is your chance to shine.
The 2026 Queensland Youth Week Digital Art Competition showcases the imagination, skill, and innovation of young Queenslanders, while recognising the important social and economic contributions young people make to our state.
Submissions for the 2026 competition will open on Friday, 30 January.
